The Board

Being on the AIGA St. Louis Board Is a great opportunity to build connections with local members, partners, other designers and creatives in the community.     I’m a designer and animator based in St. Louis, MO. Like everyone, I’m a huge fan of Disney and Pixar movies. One of my favorite elements from those movies would have to be the storytelling. Being able to tell stories through the art of motion and design has always been a passion of mine since I was a kid.

    I am a graphic designer, illustrator, and lifelong student of design. After ten years in banking, I returned to school to pursue my passion. My previous work experience has taught me that every penny counts. That attention to detail combined with my study of art and design  forms an analytical approach to creativity.

    I live in St. Louis, Missouri. Currently I am an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design. I teach in the Department of Art and Design at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) in Edwardsville, Illinois. I earned a MA and a MFA in Graphic Design from The University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa.
